Around the World in Wine is a series of two classes that will allow you to get a more in depth look into different wine regions, while we travel through the world of wine. We will focus on New World wine regions during our first class and on Old World wine regions during our second class. In this course, like in all our courses, we use our “Wine Made Fun” approach, which will allow you to learn all about this magical beverage in a comfortable, interactive, and no judgement environment.
Each class is 75-90 minutes in length, and the cost of the course is $229 for the two class sessions. These classes are live, instructor-led classes on Zoom. There is a 30-student limit for each class.
This course will be split up into two different classes over a two-week period on consecutive weeknights, with one class each week – always at 7pm and always on Zoom.
Purchase of this course includes:
- Access to our Thinkific platform & Zoom links for your instructor-led classes
- Two student packets (one for each class) chock full of information and tools to assist in learning during the course and to serve as a resource afterwards
- Invitation to join our Urban Wine School Happy Hour Community
- Wine recommendations to complement the course, or purchase them directly from WineJug (coming soon!)
If you would like to pair your course with some wine, you have the option to purchase a 6-pack of wine through our partner, WineJug. Check out the Wine Pack page for more information!
The 2 classes include:

These are wines that are more creative and innovative, and produced outside the traditional winegrowing and winemaking regions of Europe. Some countries we will be traveling to include Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, and the USA.
Class #2: Old World
